In 2011 Fashion Trends, Fashion Scarves, Get the Look, Women's Scarves on October 21, 2011 at 7:32 pm

The way celebrities dress and accessorize is always a huge inspiration to us. The latest celebrity to make our ‘style crush’ list is Victoria’s Secret supermodel Rosie Huntington Whiteley. The model/actress has made quite and impression this week as she walked through the airport. We love her laid-back yet super stylish look. The boyfriend jeans, the leather jacket, oversized grey tee and nude ballet flats are so fashionable. And let’s not forget the accessories: oversized scarf – must-have for fall and winter, aviator sunglasses and snake print handbag. Perfection.

Rosie is probably wearing designer items that we can’t all afford but since we love this look so much and we think it’s the perfect fall look we have decided to find similar affordable pieces to re-create the look.

Get The Look: Rocker-Chic

In 2011 Fashion Trends, 2012 Fashion Trends, Fashion Scarves, Get the Look, Women's Scarves on October 19, 2011 at 3:30 pm

We’ve gathered six fall fashion trends and completed one cool outfit that every fashionista can easily pull off and wear this season: the rocker-chic look.

What got us inspired was a basic skull T-shirt. Skull tees are absolute must-haves. They’re stylish and statement making, plus they nver go out of style. We wanted to create a look that was edgy but still feminine and chic so we thought pairing our rocker tee with a flowy maxi skirt would be just perfect. Now, if this would have been a summer look our next item would have been missing but since it’s fall and we need to stay warm, we picked out a fabulous two-toned faux leather biker jacket. To complete the look we picked out a pair of comfy ankle booties and some statement accessories: a patchwork scarf and a statement cuff bracelet.

Here’s what we came up with:

Get the look:

Contrast Faux Leather Biker Jacket from TOPSHOP

Pleated Maxi Skirt by Aryn K. from PIPERLIME

This is a great look that will get you from morning  ’till evening in style and comfort and one that is suitable for so many occasions. You can easily recreate it using the same items we have featured or the ones you already have in your wardrobe.

Go ahead and dress up your white skull tee with a feminine dress and stylish accessories to come up with your very own rocker-chic look!

Top 5 Fall and Winter Scarf Styles To Keep You Warm

In 2011 Fashion Trends, 2012 Fashion Trends, About Scarves, Fashion Scarves, Get the Look, Infinity Scarves, Pashmina Scarves, Pashmina Shawls and Scarves, Women's Scarves on October 12, 2011 at 3:32 pm

All scarf styles are fashionable, versatile and absolute must-haves but we have to be honest: not all scarves can keep you warm and cozy during the cold season. That being said, we made a top 5 fall and winter scarves that will keep you warm and cozy while adding a much needed touch of style and creativity to your outfits:

1. The Pashmina Shawl

Light enough to be worn during spring and summer but also warm enough for the cold season, the pashmina is an absolute wardrobe must-have for any season. Choose a bright colored one to add a pop of color to your trench coat or opt for classic black and white to go with everything else in your wardrobe.

2. The Knit Infinity

Cable knit infinity or plush knit infinity, this season opt for either style you prefer as they will both offer you lots of comfort, warmth and style.

Wrap them cowl-neck style for a plus of warmth or drape them around your neck celebrity-style.

3. Patterned Knit Scarves

Modern design? Check. Cool pattern? Check. Knit? Check. Versatility? Double check.

This just might become your favorite F/W scarf style.

4. Keyhole Scarves

This season, dress up in elegance with a stylish keyhole scarf For a secure fit, this style features a discrete keyhole slit to slide through one end of the scarf so you won’t have to worry about arranging your scarf through the day.

5. Rose Detail Scarves

This is the ultimate scarf style. Combining feminine elegance with the fierceness of studs, these scarves  will add a touch of magic to any outfit you wear. Plus, you will love the softness and warmth these scarves can bring.

Social networking has been nothing but a real pleasure to us. Along with meeting wonderful people on a daily basis we get to find out about great fashion items that for us ladies are indispensable. Our latest fabulous find: Silver Hook’s fashionable purse organizers.

It’s a known fact that sometimes is almost impossible to find your keys, mobile phone or lipstick due to the lack of organization in your purse. We know we go through this a lot so a purse organizer would really help. Why get one?, you might ask. The answer is simple. Your belongings will be perfectly organized and easy to access at all times. Plus, they can be easily placed from one handbag to another without loosing any of the items during the transfer. That’s why having a purse organizer to carry with you all the time is crucial. And if you get one that looks stylish, you get the best of both worlds.

We’ve been on the hunt for a stylish and practical purse organizer for a while and we also received a lot of requests for these fashionable solutions to women’s’ storing problems. We don’t hold these items in the shop, but now that we have discovered Silver Hook, we want to introduce them to you as well.

We dropped by their online store and checked out their cute purse organizers and selected the ones we liked best. From small to large, plain to bold prints, we present you our favorites:

Love how the color really pops on this one! With this hot pink organizer you’ll never have to worry about not being able to find your keys ever again.

Animal Print Purse Organizers ($22.99 each)
