Adding A Touch Of Color To An All-Black Outfit: Fashion Scarves

In 2011 Fashion Trends, 2012 Fashion Trends, Fashion Scarves, Get the Look, Infinity Scarves, Pashmina Scarves, Pashmina Shawls and Scarves, Women's Scarves on November 21, 2011 at 10:50 pm

There’s no denying it: women love the color black. The little black dress, the black tights, black purses and the sexy black pumps are the first fashion choices when it comes to putting together perfect outfits. However, an all-black ensemble, although it looks stylish, it does need a touch of color. And the best way to do that in style is by adding pretty accessories like colored scarves.

We put together a fall outfit, perfect for a day at the office, a shopping trip or a date with your friends. It’s an all black look so we have also picked out a couple of scarves, all bright and colored, that will go perfectly with any all-black look, not just ours.

Have a look:

We have selected five key wardrobe pieces to create this all-black look:  a feminine dress that flatters all body types, the military jacket, polka dots tights, the military-inspired ankle booties and the chic black purse. This is a stylish outfit on its own but it does need a pop of color. For that, we have selected a series of scarves that we think would make perfect accessories to an all-black look.

Get the look:

Women’s Dolman Top Dress from Old Navy

Women’s Wool-Blend Cropped Military Jacket from Old Navy

Polka Dot New York Tights from FredFlare.com

Studded Suedette Ankle Boots from Forever21

Steve Madden Amsterdam Large Dome Tote from zappos.com

The scarves:

Green Studded Scarf with Two Rose Details & Contrasting Edges

Butterscotch Infinity Ruffle Scarf

Purple Fancy Patchwork Scarf

Rust Pashmina Shawl

Reversible Magenta and Pink Shawl

Dark Blue Pleated Scarf with Sparkling Detail

Every time you feel like your outfit needs a pop of color, throw on a beautiful lively scarf. It will completely transform your look!

Ruffles are the perfect choice for every woman who wants to add a touch of creativity and feminine charm to her everyday style. Not only that, ruffles are perfect for hiding certain imperfections, like masking a bloated tummy for example, or creating the illusion of a perfect silhouette. It’s no wonder they are one of this season’s hottest trends.

They are cute, fun and fashionable and we recommend you give ruffles a try this season!

Start with a flirty ruffled top, preferably in a bright color. This will soon become your go-to item since it is perfect for every occasion. Wear it with jeans and flats for a cute and comfy look and make your transition to nigh by pairing it with a black blazer, high-heeled pumps and statement accessories.
